Conference Venue

The conference will be held in the House of the Church "Haus der Kirche" or "Dreikönigskirche" in Dresden, conveniently located to the historical center of Dresden. As the Saxon capital, Dresden offers cultural and art treasures of highest rank, world-famous art collections, but also a lively theatre and music scene. The over 800 year old city of Dresden is offering such sights as the splendid Zwinger, the Old Masters Pictures Gallery, the reconstructed Royal Palace with different art collections (i.e., the Green Vault with the Royal treasury), the impressive Semper Opera House, the Dresden Cathedral, as well as the newly reconstructed historical city. A superb example is the Church of our Lady (“Frauenkirche”) reconstructed from 1994 – 2005 which was made possible through donations from all over the world.
